Riding a roller coaster at your local amusement park usually gives enough of an adrenaline rush for most. The second you plunge from that hill your stomach churns and you may get the butterflies. Although for some, roller coasters don’t tickle their fancy. Some go for more extreme feats like getting shot 5000 feet in the air with a homemade rocket.
Unfortunately for DareDevil Flat-Earther “Mad” Mike it did not go as planned. Mike had made a steamed powered rocket which was suppose to shoot him 5000 feet in the air. Some time during lift-off the parachute engaged prematurely.
Mike flew through the air before falling to the ground to meet his end. The incident happened in the desert near Barstow, California. In the video below you can see as everything transpires. Viewer Discretion Advised.
Our thoughts go out to the friends and family of “Mad” Mike
Mad Mike Hughes just launched himself in a self-made steam-powered rocket and crash landed. Very likely did not survive. #MadMike #MadMikeHughes pic.twitter.com/svtviTEi8f
