Tesla’s Cybertruck is all over the internet. From the memes to the countless articles surfacing it has become a total phenomenon. If you remember during the real Tesla showcased a video showing a Ford F150 and a new Cybertruck in a tug-of-war challenge.
The Cybertruck which was said to be pulling uphill won the battle by a landslide. The F150 didn’t even stand a chance. The internet came up with a lot of arguments stating that the challenge wasn’t fair. First off we don’t even know the specs of both vehicles.
Tesla could have used their most powerful Cybertruck boasting a tri motor variant having the capability to tow 14,000lbs. On the other hand the Ford F150 which didn’t pose much of a challenge looks as if its a base model RWD version. There are a lot of variables that could have affected the competition such as tires and wether both vehicles were AWD or RWD.
If this is the case then Tesla was comparing apples to oranges. Well this challenge caught the eye of a vice president at Ford X. The VP Sunny Madra challenged Elon Musk to a rematch but said that the rematch would be more of an apples to apples comparison. In other words Tesla’s Cybertruck would be facing a better suited opponent.
hey @elonmusk send us a cybertruck and we will do the apples to apples test for you ???https://t.co/H3v6dCZeV5

Elon Musk did not admit that he was using a base model of the Ford F150 but he did accept the challenge. It’s not too sure if Tesla will send a Cybertruck to Ford but hopefully we can see the tug-of-war fight in action.

The tri motor variant of the Cybertruck can tow 14,000lbs. This is more than any of the current F150s. Although with the Cybertruck’s price range of $69,000+ for the tri motor version it would probably be better to face off with a F350. The F350 would also cost nearly half of the price.
Who do you think would win this tug-of-war battle if the vehicles were at a closer tow capacity. Let us know what you think in the comments below!
