New 2021 F150s are already getting rust

You always expect your car to get some form of rust over time. Although you typically expect it to happen 10 years or more after you’ve purchased the new car. Although some Ford F150s are already getting rust underneath the trucks.

While the rust is said to be mostly cosmetic it seems as though owners shouldn’t have this issue so soon after driving off the lot. The rust seems to be affecting parts like the exhaust, some exhaust hangars and the rear end. Again rust isn’t uncommon on underside componenets.

Although if you live in a state where they don’t salt the roads you would assume that your truck would stay in pristine condition for more than 3,000 miles. In on video the Youtuber who goes by Pickup Truck Plus SUV Talk has documented the rust, recalls and other issues his new 2021 F150 has already encountered.
