One morning in February 2019 a Tesla owner awoke to flames in his garage. Firefighters arrived and were able to douse the fire. Two vehicles were damaged in the blaze, a Tesla and another car. The Tesla was believed to be the cause of the fire but this was still under investigation.
The Tesla was then transported to a shop. A few hours later it caught fire again! It was believed that a Tesla engineer removed the fuse from the battery. Tesla said that they are still investigating the fire.
