If you’ve ever wondered what a fully loaded car means you might be in the market for a new vehicle. We’re sure you want to get the most for your money so knowing what all your car comes with is important information
What does a fully loaded car mean? It means that the car comes with some if not all of the available options. Depending on which vehicle you’re purchasing the manufacture can have options like different wheels or different seats.
What are options?
Car manufacturers usually try to make their cars affordable. They do this by making cars with the minimum features. These cars are called base models. You can expect to get from A to B with a small number of luxuries. Maybe you want to have the most visually appealing wheels or power windows. But in turn, you’ll be purchasing the car for a reasonable price.
Car options are added features that you can purchase from the car manufacturer. If you wanted a different set of wheels or a rare paint job you could pay a premium and have these features added to your car. If you want to have leather seats or an upgraded sound system you can add those too. Just note that these will up the cost of your vehicle.
What is a fully loaded car?
A fully-loaded car is a vehicle that comes with some if not all of the available options. You’ll have the top-of-the-line interior and exterior. Some options that weren’t in the base model will be added to your car. You may have automatic wipers and a set of aluminum wheels. Everything that the car manufacturer offers as an option is added to a fully loaded car.
With these added features the price of your car will go up significantly. Depending on the type of your car the price of these added features could cost you $10,000 or more above the base price. If you are wanting a car that is luxurious and has all of the bells and whistles then a fully loaded car may be right for you. A full option car is another name for a fully loaded car.
Is it worth it buying a fully loaded car?
Buying a fully loaded car may be worth it in the long run. Depending on which car you purchase some will maintain their value more than others. If you purchase a car that is popular and has highly desired options then you’ll fetch a higher price if you decide to sell. Things like a limited paint job can make your car worth more than cars with a more generic color.
